Yurii Yevsiukov

Profile

A soviet and Ukrainian theater and film actor. Honored Artist of Ukraine (2007). People's Artist of Ukraine (2017). He was an actor in The Kharkiv Ukrainian Drama Theater in 1984-1988 and from 1995 . Yevsiukov entered the acting rather late. He became an active member of the Ukrainian movie scene at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s. He played a number of iconic roles, in particular in the cult film "Hunt for the Cossack's Gold" (ukr. "Вперед, за скарбами гетьмана!") . Critics claim that his characters are characterized by kindness, energy, psychological insight and enormous experience. He teaches at the Kharkiv I. Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts (Department of Actor's Mastery). Born : 17th-Jan-1948

After the Revolution
