Successful police officer ASP Zamri fails to build a happy home. His only child succumbs to leukimia and his life falls apart. Marina is somehow connected to Albert., who in turn is close to Ramon., the leader of the bank robber’s gang. Out of sympathy for ASP Zamri who longs for another child, Mr Cheong convinces Marina to marry the Asp Zamri, but her mother does not bless their marriage. Zamri and Marina are blessed with a son, Jefri, who placed in the care of Faridah, Zamri’s first wife. ASP Zamri spends most of his time with Faridah and Jefri. As a result, Marina starts to feel lonely.

The lovebirds were heart broken but decided to keep things to themselves, Dara not wanting to go against her father's wishes and Aduka not wanting to hurt his brother. The country was attacked by the pirates and Teruna was sent by the Headmaster to render his services to the Sultan. Whilst Teruna was away, Semerah Padi was attacked by Borek and his gang and Dara was kidnapped. Aduka managed to kill Borek and rescued her. With love and passion overcoming their emotions, they committed adultery. Teruna came back victorious and discovered what had happened. What was Teruna's reaction? What happened to Dara and Aduka?

One day while Ali baba was collecting firewood near a cliff as always, he spotted a group of thieves walking to a nearby cave.

The film's story revolves around the tragic love affair between Kassim Selamat, a poor musician, and Sabariah, the only daughter of a wealthy woman. Ramlee's works, the film criticizes the unofficial caste system that separates the wealthy from the poor.

Datok Merah’s Grandson

A period drama with Malay symbolisms, myth and folklore, the title Chuchu Datok Merah points to the mental image Malays have of themselves as descendants of Hang Tuah, the legendary Malay warrior of Malacca. Awang Janggut is very much a pseudo-warrior. Instead of a “keris”, a warrior’s weapon, he owns a prize-winning rooster. His battlefield is the cock fight arena. Home is a big but empty house inherited from his ancestor, and prefers living in poverty to working. The closest he comes to the high life of a warrior is when a rich businessman employs him as a bodyguard after he prevents hooligans from taunting the latter’s daughter Siti. Despite knowing Awang is married, Siti continues to flirt with him, causing him to leave his pregnant wife alone. She eventually falls sick and has a miscarriage. The film is a social criticism of people who rest on their laurels and ancestry instead of working for themselves. It is also one of the finest examples of the anti-hero in Malay cinema.

Mas Merah

Based on a bangsawan story by stage veteran M. Babjan, ‘Mas Merah’ concerns the titular character who is daughter to a family with two feuding wives. Her mother is Mak Merah, who shares a husband (Pak Sagai) with Mak Gelam. Unfortunately, the pair of mothers are not on good terms with each other, often resorting to verbal abuse and catfights to settle their differences. The animosity and resentment get so far as to incite Mak Gelam to injure and kill Mak Merah. After her mother’s death and accusations of impropriety against her, Mas Merah is forced to leave her family and kampong to seek refuge in the wilderness. There, she meets Awang Sulong, a prince who is born and raised in the forest as a consequence of the king’s blind belief in the slander of his mother Puteri Mayang Mengurai. Together, they seek to do good and reverse the atmosphere of lies and betrayals clouding the kampong and the royal court.
