Raja was a professional thief who went to jail for a crime. His very close assistant Bhola waited for him and when Raja returned from prison, they started planning a bigger one. Raja did not disclose his real identity and tried hard to impress her a lot. In the meantime, a tout Gobardhan nagged Mala a lot to join films. Raja and Bhola gave him a good punishment and saved Mala in several situations. Later Raja tried to cheat a businessperson, but an unavoidable situation changed his life. At last, Mala came to know everything about Raja and accepted him as her partner. Raja also decided to change his life and put his best effort into becoming a good man. He meets Mala and asks her to forgive Raja. Raja once again regains Mala's love and the film ends on a happy note.

Jiban Maran

A famous radio singer Mohan (Saigal) is in love with Geeta (Leela Desai). When he goes to his friend a doctor, TB Specialist, Bijoy (Bhanu) for a check-up, he is found to be in an advance stage of TB. Meanwhile Leela's dominant mother and aunt (Nibhanani and Manorama) had been against the poor Mohan and had set their eyes on same Dr. Bijoy, the son of a family friend. When Mohan comes to know of it, and also his sickness, he decides to walk away from them. He is intercepted by a doctor who ran a sanatorium for TB patients, with some new method of treatment. Geeta couldn't forget Mohan and waited, but in the end she had to relent. Then it was known that Mohan was alive and cured. What would now Bijoy and Geeta do? There wedding was the next day, and they have to go ahead with it, the honour of both the families were at stake. Mohan too aware of his being exposed, disappears from the sanatorium and is untraceable.

This complex situation really confused him and later Raja decided to help Anuradha. At the same time, Mr. Mallik requested a notorious criminal Rohanlal to find Anuradha. Just to save Anuradha Raja put her at his grandmother’s house in Tarakeshwar. Later Anuradha felt that she had a soft corner for Raja. Therefore, without hesitation, she decided to come back to Raja’s place and fixed him as his life partner.
