Newlyweds Merry (Lydia Kandou) and Andi (Ray Sahetapy) have to say goodbye to Anita’s parents who are going abroad for a holiday. Aunt and Uncle (Zainal Abidin, Ida Kusumah) have been asked to watch over them. While Merry and Andi are at the airport to see the parents off, a sweet looking girl comes up and kisses Andi and gives him a message for another young woman. Confusion ensues. Merry becomes suspicious. In the midst of this atmosphere of suspicion, Andi has to take part in an office meeting in Puncak. Even worse, after the meeting, Andi’s boss invites him to a party and after that Andi has to go to Bandung on business. Andi calls Merry, who has taken Andi’s joking around with his servant Kadir about women seriously, to inform her of these plans, and she tells him that she wants to separate from him.

Doddy, a faithful husband, becomes a suspect. The office secretary, who adores him, suspects him. Furthermore, Doddy has to work late because he has to accompany the company’s director during a business meeting with a Japanese company. In addition, he has to find a lady escort for his guest, and at one of the dinner parties, he is photographed being very close to Neni, the escort. Atik refuses to accept Doddy’s explanations so he has to find Neni’s pimp to prove his innocence. Instead, the escort agency’s bouncers beat him up. Finally, Atik believes him, especially when she finds that Neni is going to be married to the director.

Meanwhile Tati, who often uses the phone at Rio’s house to contact the director, is suspected of having an affair, leading to more comedy of errors. It seems to be an intention to criticize the film industry.

Luckily, everything is resolved when Vina finally arrives.
