McCarren and Rado may be cops, but they have a soft spot for Hollywood's shady characters. There's a caped eccentric named Captain Crusader and a lovable bag lady known as Lady Di. This is a place where prostitutes possess hearts of gold and the police sport perfect teeth. Their supervisor, Capt. Biddle (Edward Winter), is a strict martinet who often critiques their methods.
