'Trivia at St. Nick’s' is a rough one. Not good! Naturally, I don't expect much from these tele festive flicks. Still, there is still a level to reach and I don't personally believe this one hits any sort of positive standing. I'll give it minor credit for having a clear concept, as opposed to the usual flat out romance with minimal other plot points. However, that's all the praise I have. The acting is probably its weakest element, neither of the two leads are all that watchable and the support cast don't stand out behind them. You need a bit of chemistry between those front and centre, but I didn't sense anything with these two sadly.
With their father away as a chaplain in the Civil War, Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy grow up with their mother in somewhat reduced circumstances. They are a close family who inevitably have their squabbles and tragedies. But the bond holds even when, later, male friends start to become a part of the household.
Babe is a little pig who doesn't quite know his place in the world. With a bunch of odd friends, like Ferdinand the duck who thinks he is a rooster and Fly the dog he calls mum, Babe realises that he has the makings to become the greatest sheep pig of all time, and Farmer Hoggett knows it. With the help of the sheep dogs, Babe learns that a pig can be anything that he wants to be.
You'd better watch out - Santa Claus Willie T. Soke is coming to town and he doesn't care if you've been naughty or nice. Wille's favorite holiday tradition is to fill his sacks with loot lifted from shopping malls across the country. But this year his plot gets derailed by a wisecracking store detective, a sexy bartender, and a kid who's convinced Willie is the real Santa Claus.
While visiting his hometown during Christmas, a man comes face-to-face with his old high school crush whom he was best friends with – a woman whose rejection of him turned him into a ferocious womanizer.
After having resigned from his post as President of the Republic, Jeff and his family are happy to be back in their village of Bouzolles. As the end of the year holidays approach, Cathy asks for a unique gift: to reconnect with her sister Maguy, and her husband Jean-Yves, with whom Jeff has been angry for 10 years. The reconciliation could have gone smoothly, except that during a lunch, Jeff and Jean-Yves, will once again find a subject of contention: Christmas. This family feud, which should never have left Bouzolles, will turn into a standoff between Jeff and a giant of Internet distribution.
In the sequel to "A Royal Family Holiday", the children Phillip "Flip" Royal (Romeo Miller), a good-looking spiritual guru; Austin Royal (Eric Myrick III, At Sunrise), a Washington, D.C. community activist; Kelsey Royal (Chelsea Tavares, Fright Night), a fashion designer's gopher; and Pamela Royal (Taquilla Whitfield, Magic Mike XXL), a hair and nail salon owner; join forces to reunite their parents in time for Christmas. They try every trick in the book - including "playing nice" and setting aside old sibling rivalries - only to learn their mom and dad are enjoying "the single life." Their plan also goes awry as getting their parents back together ends up taking a back seat to their own personal and professional drama.
Philomena Cunk is on a festive mission to track down the true meaning of Christmas, and find out exactly what it wants. It's an insightful documentary which takes her on a journey from pagan winter festivals and the nativity story, via 'Sir Charles Dickings', all the way up to today's obsession with Santa. Along the way Philomena will be grilling a variety of experts, trying to expose the truth about Christmas, such as why people still put up with 'brussels sprouts'.
That bionic bonehead is off to the North Pole to stop Dr. Claw from taking over Santa's elves and workshop. Accompanied as usual by Penny and Brain who foil Claw's operations once again.
