The critically acclaimed all-woman Japanese acting revue Takarazuka brings Rurouni Kenshin to life, creating a new twist on a globally loved story.

The story unfolds in the turbulent period in the history of Japan, where two imperial courts exist. Kusunoki Masatsura, a warlord of the Southern Court, knows the court is approaching its downfall while spending his days fighting against the Northern Court along with his younger brothers: Masatoki and Masanori. Along the way Masatsura meets Ben no Naishi and the two fall in love. The full-blown cherry blossom season arrives, and with a decisive battle looming Masatsura wonders what he is fighting for. Amidst a storm of cherry blossoms, Masatsura follows the path he has chosen… "Dream Chaser" is one who chases their dreams. Set at "Studio 54", a discothèque in New York that captivated celebrities all over the world from the latter half of the 1970s to the 1980s. A musical production about a runaway papparazzo following a scandal and his target, an up-and-coming actress, who connect with each other after a certain incident. Holly Ashley is a freelance journalist who supplies "scoop" photos and gossip articles to tabloids and evening magazines. One night, a party is held at Studio 54 celebrating the release of rock star Z-BOY's new album. Holly gets an exclusive story on the up-and-coming actress Giselle Morgan, who is rumored to be Z-BOY's lover. But Z-BOY's agency interferes with the article being published. Holly needs money — to give back to the orphanage where he was raised. Desperate, he chases after the pair and gets involved in an incident...

Musical by the Takarazuka Revue. In modern day France, an exhibition is being held at the Palace of Versailles of the "Necklace of Marie Antoinette". The necklace had been used in a fraud case that marked a chapter in French history and later went missing. It has been reproduced using real diamonds. Fujiko has sneaked into Versailles, as has the gang of Lupin, Goemon, and Jigen - all with the intention of getting their hands on the necklace, which is valued at over 3 billion yen in today's money. But they bump into Inspector Zenigata. Lupin is the one who manages to foil Zenigata and grab the necklace. Yet the instant he lays hands on it, everyone is enveloped in a mysterious light. When they regain consciousness, they notice they have gone through a time slip to 1785, before the French Revolution when Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were around.
