The Boy from Oklahoma

Pan Xiao, a young lawyer, goes to a rural small village settled in the western desert lands of China to handle the case of a falcon poacher who has ran over a policeman. Pan wins the case through sophisticated reasoning and forces the poacher to give him his car as a reward. Then, he just drives back home, but the return will not be an easy one.

That makes them eager to try another home out in the west, where they are promised that mice and cats live in peace. Unfortunately, the one making this claim is an oily con artist named Cat R. Waul who is intent on his own sinister plan.

He makes up his mind that he is not going to carry around loaded weapons anymore, but when he's asked to become sheriff of a lawless town, he compromises by carrying an unloaded pistol and relying on his reputation to keep order.
