I was drawn to this film by a trailer in which I could swear that I saw Roger Daltrey (from "The Who") and indeed, sparingly, here he is as "Janos", the King who decides to empower "Vlad Tepes" (Rudolf Martin) to fight against the Ottoman empire and to free his Romanian nation from their occupying yoke. This film makes no reference at all to any of the more traditional vampiric myth. It's basically just a low-budget history of a princely freedom-fighter who galvanises his people to resist their oppressive overlords. There are plenty of bloody battle scenes, a fair amount of impaling and generally the story processes well and quite excitingly with a decent degree of production values. The acting and the writing, however, are really poor with a stilted dialogue clunkily delivered by a lacklustre cast. I found there to be no chemistry at all between the lead and his Princess "Lidia" (Jane March). Insofar as there is any fact about this man, this effort does depict a story of a flawed and compromised man with a mission - and of one you crossed at your peril - well, and makes for a good adventure worthy of far better casting.
Playboy millionaire, Tony Canoni, is caught between a satanic vampire cult and the Yakuza, but taking on undead blood suckers and the Japanese mafia isn't as hard as studying for his GED test at Night School. Based on a true story. Except the mafia part. We all know that there are no such things as the "Japanese".
Lady Belladonna is back with another round of suspenseful tales from Pandora's Box, including a vengeful vampire, a misplaced curse, an alien invasion and more tantalizing trips beyond the veil.
To exist in daylight, Countess Elizabeth Bathory - the infamous Blood Countess and widow of legendary vampire Count Dracula - makes a blood pact with an Egyptian goddess involving three lovely victims and a living Mummy. A centuries-old craving collides with an ancient curse in this horrific climax to Frontline Entertainment's Countess Dracula and Mummy's Kiss movie series!
Armed with a mysterious website and a profile on a popular dating app, Selene, a freshly-turned vampire, lures Tyler into a “date” in order to make her first kill and complete her transformation.
The third instalment in the "Trash Arts Killers" series, once again delivering more short bursts of shocks and scares from U.K. genre minds.
A hard-boiled female detective has to solve a murder plot orchestrated by vampires.
Transylvania. Seventies. Mina and Lucy, two friends very attractive, they are mysteriously drawn into a surprising and terrifying story whose protagonist is Jonathan Dracula, a direct descendant of Count Dracula.
Sai, a young artist living in a downtown warehouse delves into an ancient world of blood and lust. An enigmatic foreigner seduces her to try a long forgotten drug making her the prey of a dimensional vampire who needs her new found hunger for blood to cross over from his world to hers.
A vampire follows his instincts to a strip joint where he focuses in on one of the performers. He picks her for his meal because she is contemplating suicide, but he wants to share her life before taking it, and during the course of the evening they discuss their differences, their fears, and their lifestyles. As the moment of truth approaches, the woman becomes less sure that she wants to die.
