In the midst of Nazi air raids, a postman dies on the operating table at a rural hospital. But was the death accidental?

Sandra Carpenter is a London-based dancer who is distraught to learn that her friend has disappeared. Unlike his illustrious grandfather however, he only succeeds in bungling every job he organizes. Also stars Arthur Lowe as the "bionic" grandson of Dr. Watson, Stratford Johns as the Commissioner of Police, and Connie Booth as Mrs. Hudson.
