Having lost his wife, elderly Shogo lives alone in the countryside. Beginning to show signs of dementia, he receives the care of a young helper named Yumi. As he grows closer to Yumi, he begins to see in her his late wife.

Sayuri, who lost her parents in an accident, raised her young siblings as a stripper. And her younger sister, Rinko, who knows her sister's hardships, suppresses her own will and lives as an honor student as her sister wants. However, when her marriage plan with Rinko breaks down, Sayuri and Rinko's true feelings clash. Ryoko starts working part-time for fun, and meets aspiring actor Yahata (Kaai Gamo). Having reaffirmed her identity as a woman, Ryoko fans Yahata's delusions about love.
