The future, the space. Sonia is about to be transferred from her station to a newer one. Although everything seems to be going well, Sonia's mind is actually elsewhere, haunted by tragic events from the not too distant past.

Haruki secretly had feelings for Akihiko for years, but Akihiko was still in a relationship with his roommate, the violinist Ugetsu Murata. Haruki, Akihiko, and Ugetsu's love clashes and starts to move forward.

Mariko, codenamed "Rose Marie", is a leader of an anti-terrorism group, CAT (Counter Attack Terrorism). She lost her husband and son in a terrorist bomb attack at an airport. Also suffering injuries in the blast, she was left with a scar that looked like a rose flower on her chest. A secret summit conference is due to be held in Switzerland, with Marie's team deployed as security. However, it becomes clear terrorists have already made a move to sabotage the meeting...

A 3D movie originally screened in Hanayashiki and some other amusement parks on 20.03.1999. The movie was later rerun at Toei's anime festival "Tobidasu! 3D Toei Anime Matsuri" on 03.10.2009. The DVD became available on 21.02.2010 titled "CG Toei Anime Matsuri" and it contained 3 other CG anime works by Toei (Kikansha Yaemon, Digimon Savers 3D: Digital World Kiki Ippatsu! and Digimon Adventure 3D: Digimon Grand Prix!).

Digimon Adventure 3D: Digimon Grand Prix! was first shown in July 2000 in Sanrio Puroland and in Sanrio's character theme park Haromy Land. The movie was later rerun at Toei's anime festival "Tobidasu! 3D Toei Anime Matsuri" on 03.10.2009. Together with Digimon Savers 3D: Digital World Kiki Ippatsu!, and 2 other CG anime works by Toei, it was released on DVD on 21.02.2010.
