After regaining consciousness on DeathHead Island, The Gore Collector, Tape Head and the now fully-assembled Molly board a ramshackle raft made with wood taken from the actual crucifixion of Christ, and start their trek across the Blood Sea. But first, the creepy crew encounter the inhabitants of the island: a tribe of of drooling albino vampires! A haunted asylum, ruled by an evil demon, tries to claim a trio of ghost hunters. Lori Delaney gets a cryptic text from her best friend who’s gone missing for three days after shooting video footage at the local haunted insane asylum. On a mission with two other friends, Lori quickly finds the asylum isn’t exactly abandoned. Its rooms are still filled with patients, or residents who haven’t been able to move on after their deaths.

Shadow Realm is a compilation of two episodes of the short-lived Fox Network television series Night Visions. Each episode contained two stories and were originally hosted by musician/actor/writer Henry Rollins. The Sci-Fi Channel acquired the rights to broadcast the episodes, including the last three unaired episodes and strung two of them together as an anthology movie. Title sequences and end credits were changed and the Henry Rollins introductions were removed from the final product.
