The community has events and rituals to bring in up to move the rain.Rain in Batu City cannot be predicted due to the interests of two community groups. The first group needs rain to grow various vegetables. While the second group is the owners of tourism businesses who want hot weather in order to get many visitors.

Seven years since the Monsterpocalypse began, Joel Dawson has been living underground in order to survive. But after reconnecting over radio with his high school girlfriend Aimee, Joel decides to venture out to reunite with her, despite all the dangerous monsters that stand in his way.

The story begins the day before the graduation ceremony. Five middle school girls each are preoccupied with their real everyday lives. These girls meet each other in a fantasy world after being sent there through a sudden occurrence. There, they learn about the impending crisis that this world is facing. The way to avert this crisis is for the five to collaborate and bring their five hearts together as one through dance. However, the five cannot come to love the world, and cannot tell their true feelings to one another, so their hearts are unable to unite. The time limit is fast approaching. Can the dance of the five girls save the world? And will they be able to graduate?

Megan, the captain of the local high school cheer leading squad, has been volunteered to work at the local food bank by her father during her Christmas holiday break. Megan is quite distressed as she wanted to shop and hang out with her two best friends. Through her volunteering, Megan learns all about "doing for others" instead of "getting what she wants". She also gains a few more relationships along the way.

When her barrettes mess up her pirouettes, an excitable, hyper-focused Black girl must power through the distractions - and her mother's expectations - to fly like the ballerinas do.

As a homage to Andrea Arnold, accompanied with music by Rockettothesky, we follow an unnamed Girl as she encounters the physical manifestation of the anger, fears and insecurities in her life, through the form of a Masked Man. The Grasshopper symbolises personal strength, independence and the freedom to change.

GDR, August 1989: Hanna and Andreas became a target of the secret police and had to give up their plans for their future studies and desired professions. Instead, they face arbitrariness, mistrust and reprisals. Their only chance for a self-determined life lies in fleeing across the Baltic Sea.
