A folklore professor becomes unwittingly possessed by the ancient Japanese demons of Thunder and Lightning. F/X man Rollie Tyler is now a toymaker. Mike, the ex-husband of his girlfriend Kim, is a cop. He asks Rollie to help catch a killer.
