Paris, France, early 19th century. The legendary convict François Vidocq lives in disguise trying to escape from a tragic past that torments him. When, after an unfortunate event, he crosses paths with the police chief, he makes a bold decision that will turn the ruthless mastermind of the Parisian underworld against him.

François Vidocq has deserted to go back to his wife and kids, so he becomes a thief. Unfortunately, he finds she had become Manon-la-blonde, mistress of a rich man named Ouvrard, and his children have disappeared. He offers his services to the chief of intelligence service and begins a fight against the Aristo, chief of the gang of the children of the sun. After a few years, he dismantles the gang, and finds both his sons. One has become a blackguard, the other a famous organist who is about to be knighted and will soon get married to his beloved.

During a live stream in a haunted building, a streamer goes missing, sparking the curiosity of fellow streamers. They decide to take a look for themselves, believing that the missing streamer may have fabricated his video. But as they explore, broadcasting their journey live along the way, they begin to realize that there's more to the building than it seems: it was previously the site of abductions and murders of innocent people.

A respectable village head decides to keep his son away from the violent politics of rural life. However, fate intervenes, forcing the young man to not only return home, but also take up the sickle.

The plot is set in Mumbai, a city of dream and land of opportunities. The psychological crime thriller showcases an intriguing chase between a serial killer with a distinctive fetish and CBI officer named Gulshan. In the serial killer's point of view, the film explores the fugitive's darkest desire for momentary pleasure.
