A lonely elderly man travels through the suburbs to find someone who can play an old vinyl with a song by his late wife. In an emotional journey full of rediscoveries, the short film explores a relationship of true love and the need to preserve the most important memories of your life.

Sophie and Otto Bentwood are a middle-aged, middle class, childless Brooklyn Heights couple trapped in a loveless marriage. He is an attorney, she a translator of books. Their existence is affected not only by their disintegrating relationship but by the threats of urban crime and vandalism that surround them everywhere they turn, leaving them feeling paranoid, scared, and desperately helpless.

Dealing with troubling friends, a toxic home life and minimal motivation, Bryan (Bolanos) remains stuck in a lifeless cycle with no end in sight. That all changes once he takes a leap of faith outside of his comfort zone, when a new friend Bianca (Prokuski) shines a light at the end of the tunnel and introduces him to the world of art.

The film stars two of Itami's regular actors, Nobuko Miyamoto as a geisha who brings luck to the men with whom she sleeps, and Masahiko Tsugawa as her unfaithful, sometimes partner. As well as showing her relationships with the man she loves and the men who employ her, it satirizes corruption and the influence of money in Japanese politics.
