The first season of the PBS "Secrets of the Dead" are versions of the UK (Channel 4) documentary series of the same name. The episodes in this season were reworked (re-edited, re-branded, and re-narrated by Roy Scheider) from the UK episodes. The episodes were originally available on VHS as a season set and individually.

Why did the great airship Hindenburg explode? The disintegration of the Hindenburg in 1937 is one of the most famous disasters of the 20th century.
