Kevin Light

Kevin Light, born and raised in Woodstock, NY, has lived on the West Coast for the last twenty years. After a brief stint in the US Airforce Academy in Colorado, he landed in Gainesville Florida where he received his BS in Electrical Engineering. Postgraduate employment with Hughes Aircraft brought him out to California and he enrolled in graduate school in Electrical Engineering at USC. It seemed his future was laid out, but despite promotions at Hughes, he felt a still, quiet voice within demanding expression. He wanted to be an actor. A fortunate turn of events landed him in a classroom with the legendary Sanford Meisner, one of the founding members of the Group Theater, and an exacting but effective teacher. Various roles in television and film followed for Kevin. Even though he loved acting, Kevin experienced something in yoga that was so compelling, he took a detour to study and eventually teach the ancient discipline of body and mind. A Lover of the arts, architecture, yoga, and eastern spirituality as well as all forms of creative expression, he has found his journey back into acting greatly enriched by the years of yoga. Too Rich: The Secret Life of Doris Duke

Rick - Too Rich: The Secret Life of Doris Duke is a four-part miniseries that was first broadcast on CBS in 1999 starring Lauren Bacall and Richard Chamberlain. It was based primarily on the book The Richest Girl In The World: by Stephanie Mansfield as well as Bob Colacello's two in-depth articles about Ms Duke in Vanity Fair. Colacello was the magazine's authority on Doris Duke. The title of the series was derived from the book Too Rich: The Family Secrets of Doris Duke by Pony Duke and Jason Thomas. Manfield's book was the first to be obtained by CBS, which optioned it for a planned miniseries in early 1995. The Duke-Thomas book, which was "being peddled as a miniseries" by the authors months before publication, was originally optioned earlier that year by the producer Doris Keating, who planned a miniseries of her own. Too Rich: The Secret Life of Doris Duke presents a dramatized account of the life of the heiress, philanthropist, and once richest woman in the world, Doris Duke. It has since been re-broadcast on The Hallmark Channel, and on Lifetime combined together and presented as a 192 minute movie. The film stars Hayden Panettiere as young Doris Duke, Lindsay Frost as 20 to 50 year old Doris Duke, and Lauren Bacall as an elderly Doris Duke. Bacall, who had met Doris Duke a few times, was pleased to have been able to appear in a TV miniseries, devoting a few paragraphs to the experience in her autobiography.

Contractor - Ellen is an American television sitcom that aired on the ABC network from March 29, 1994 to July 22, 1998, consisting of 109 episodes. The title role of Ellen Morgan, played by stand-up comedian Ellen DeGeneres, was a neurotic bookstore owner in her thirties. The series centered on Ellen's dealing with her quirky friends, her family and the problems of daily life. The series is notable for being the first one in which the main character came out as gay, which DeGeneres' character did in the 1997 episode "Puppy Episode". This event received a great deal of media exposure, ignited controversy, and prompted ABC to place a parental advisory at the beginning of each episode. The series' theme song, "So Called Friend" is by Scottish band Texas. A running gag was that each episode had a distinct opening credits sequence, resulting from Ellen's ongoing search for the perfect opening credits.

Guy - Union Square is a 1997 television sitcom that was broadcast on NBC for one season. It follows the story of a lawyer-turned-playwright in New York City, who attempts to gain inspiration from a host of characters populating the fictitious Union Square cafe in Manhattan, obviously inspired by the New York area of the same name. The show was originally supposed to be a vehicle for Cuban-American actress Mel Gorham. But after poor test screenings for the pilot, the producers decided to retool the show and replace Gorham with Constance Marie. The program replaced Fired Up on NBC's "Must See TV" night of programming; it was given an 8:30pm timeslot on Thursday evenings, a highly coveted spot due to its location between popular sitcoms Friends and Seinfeld. Like The Single Guy, Union Square attempted to capitalize on attractive singles in their 20s and 30s enjoying New York City life, which both Seinfeld and Friends had turned into successes. The show also featured guest appearances from actor David Krumholtz, who appeared on two episodes, as did actress Rhea Perlman.
