Ear to the Ground is a weekly television programme broadcast in Ireland on RTÉ One on Thursday evenings at 19:00. The show consists of reports about various countryside, rural environmental issues. It is currently in its sixteenth season and is produced by Independent Pictures. Ear to the Ground is presented by Ella McSweeney, Darragh McCullough and Helen Carroll. Previous presenters include Maeve Dineen, who left after the fifteenth season and the long-running Mairead McGuinness, who has since become a Member of the European Parliament for Fine Gael. The show is repeated on RTÉ One after the lunchtime news each Sunday.

On the Street Where You Live is a six-part Irish documentary television series broadcast on RTÉ One. It examined six different streets in six different Irish cities, one per episode. The stories are told through local characters who have witnessed great changes come about on the streets of their home city throughout their lifetime. Some footage from the programmes is available to view online at RTÉ.ie. The series was originally aired in January – February 2009 each Friday at 19:30. Each episode is thirty minutes in length and featured streets from the cities of Dublin, Galway, Dundalk, Limerick, Cork and Kilkenny.

The films focus on stories that receive less international coverage and "people at the margins of society." The show occasionally features interviews with the filmmakers.
Witness was one of the first programmes on Al Jazeera English, and has been airing since the channel's inception in November 2006. It was presented by Rageh Omaar from 2006 to 2010. While the scheduling has changed over the years, currently there is at least one new episode each week which premieres on Tuesdays at 22:30 GMT or Wednesdays at 20:00 GMT and is re-aired throughout the week.
The show has won multiple documentary awards and has received two International Emmy Award nominations.

$5 Cover is an online series created by filmmaker Craig Brewer and produced by MTV and is a fictional series created to complement the documentary series "$5 Cover Amplified". The 15-part series debuted in May 2009 and feature artists from the city of Memphis, Tennessee, including Alicja Trout, Clare Grant, Jeff Pope, Amy LaVere, Al Kapone, Valerie June, Jack Oblivian, Brad Postlethwaite of Snowglobe, Muck Sticky, and Ben Nichols of Lucero. Each episode explores living and making rent in the historical, and still very active, Memphis music scene.
The show is described in MTV's official press release:
"$5 Cover is a rough-and-tumble show set in the clubs, all-night cafes and no-tell motels of present-day Memphis. The series follows a cast of young musicians as they fight for love, inspiration, and money to pay the rent."
The show aired on MTV as 30-minute episodes and on MTV.com as short webisodes.
The show aired with a series of companion documentaries called "$5 Cover Amplified".
