VH1's annual Mother's Day celebration salutes moms everywhere. Anthony Anderson and La La Anthony hosted the event, which included performances by Ashanti, Monica, Luke James, H.E.R., Shai and SWV. T.I. paid tribute to the women in his life, including his wife Tameka "Tiny" Harris, and on behalf of the #SeeHer movement, Ciara honored moms who've made strides in advertising and media.

The executive producers of High School Musical keep the good times rolling with this upbeat musical comedy set in the one place every American teenager's home away from home - the local shopping mall. Ally (Nina Dobrev) is an optimistic adolescent singer/songwriter whose hard working mother owns the mall music shop frequented by every teen in town. When Ally shares her music with Joey (Rob Mayes), a janitor in the mall who harbors rock star ambitions, she is thrilled to find someone who can truly relate to her songs as well as her heart. Recorded on Saturday April 19, 2003 when Silverchair brought the Across The Night tour to their hometown of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. The concert was staged in the ornate and venerable Newcastle Civic Theatre - within walking distance of the band's birthplace. Bob Marley and the Wailers entered the newly refurbished Tuff Gong Studios on May 1, 1980 to rehearse songs for the upcoming Uprising tour which starts June 1, 1980 in München, Germany. A film crew is at the rehearsal to film footage for a JBC documentary on Bob Marley and Tuff Gong. Much of the rehearsal was captured on film, and it has become legendary footage.

You Gave Me A Song offers an intimate portrait of old-time music pioneer Alice Gerrard and her remarkable, unpredictable journey creating and preserving traditional music. The film follows eighty-four year old Gerrard over several years, weaving together verité footage of living room rehearsals, recording sessions, songwriting, archival work, and performances with photos and rare field recordings. Much of the film is told in Alice’s voice and via interviews with musical collaborators and family members who share the story of Alice and others chasing that high lonesome sound.
