The men of Chemics International lead a quiet life. However, this is cruelly disrupted by an industrial accident in which a toxic substance is released. Some workers are killed; many others are irrevocably contaminated and may suffer permanent injuries. The management, government, press and unions do not react, seeing this as an unfortunate incident. When one of Herman and Jef's best friends also dies, they have had enough. Together they made an ultimate attempt to reveal the truth to the outside world.

What is the death? What do we feel when we die? It is a truth that no living creature has ever experienced it. My perspective of the death is that, I see life as a before program, and the death as the main program.

Maradonna (Shanthnoo) is an aimless youngster who likes to waste his time doing practically nothing other than fooling around. For him everything in life is Oru Rasam (just fun). He likes to take the easy way out and lacks focus in his life. He is the only son of Joseph (Lalu Alex), a Banker and Mary (Ambika), who dotes on him. The only person who has a soft corner for him is the beautiful Sofia (Nithya Menon) who has a limp and is the daughter of a failed filmmaker, Kuruvilla (Vijayaraghavan). Maradonna messes up his life by getting into company of friends and starting an internet café that fails and to recoup his losses and attracted by ‘easy money’ he gets into drugs. Soon he is conned and loses everything after pledging his house to a ‘blade’ moneylender (Salim Kumar).

After the fall of civilization, man has repeated the same mistakes again and installed a new system of law based on false science and superstitious beliefs. This reaches its climax when it comes to the “Chisa” flower, because anyone who dares to touch it is banished from the village and has to live a life of loneliness and poverty. The most vulnerable to this deviation are children, as their natural curiosity makes them fall prey to temptation.

Katrina, a naive young woman, travels to the home of Phil, her mentor/father figure, to kill him before he can divulge incriminating information to the police. However, Katrina hesitates to pull the trigger before Phil notices her, resulting in an existential confrontation that forces Phil to come to terms with his own death and Katrina to take responsibility for her actions and confront the faults in her worldview.
