FULL SPOILER-FREE REVIEW @ https://fandomwire.com/no-one-will-save-you-review-simplicity-at-its-best/ "No One Will Save You counts on Kaitlyn Dever's powerfully expressive, virtually speechless performance to carry a classic sci-fi premise of alien invasion filled with truly tense moments perfectly executed by Brian Duffield. The brilliantly impactful sound design accompanies the narrative rich in themes such as guilt, grief, and forgiveness, developed exclusively through clever visual details. The last scene leaves an unnecessary bitter aftertaste, but far from affecting the enjoyment of one of this year's most pleasant surprises." Rating: A-

Disney/Hulu have a hit on their hands with a no dialogue visual treat that also packs a punch, even if the words are missing

Just when you thought no one could rework classic sci fi, along comes, No One Will Save You. This film is driven by sight and sound, evoking a Rockwell flavoured 50's charm, juxtaposed starkly, with an austere, almost Lovecraft-ian alien other. Its a film that's as endearing familiar as its, terrifyingly other worldly and it works beautifully. The end is intriguing too, raising questions what it means to be saved and who the real aliens, are. In summary, clever in its simplicity, visually and audibly expressive, at times familiar and terrifying, balanced by a thought provoking finale. Great stuff.

Fun alien invasion movie, but the ending was a bit of a let down and they attempted to jam a few too many alien invasion concepts into one film. The giant strider aliens were really fun to watch and the opening home invasion sequence was creepy and well done. If you are in the mood for a fun popcorn alien invasion movie and don't have too high of expectations, then this is the movie for you!

It's a new kind of home invasion story. And I guess it's a new kind of alien invasion story. About two-thirds of the way through, I finally realized that there had not been one word of dialogue spoken. The fighting between the alien nasties and Brynn was sometimes spooky, often suspenseful, and always entertaining. Brynn's home was the perfect place to stretch out the chases and the games of hide and seek between her and the aliens. The variety in size of the aliens was a nice touch. They came in three different sizes: dog-sized, human-sized, and kaiju-sized. Their quirky movements and strangely jointed arms and legs, not to mention their odd feet were pretty creative. Their movements were sometimes human and often monkey or even spider-like. The CGI was pretty good, but the aliens looked a bit like plastic too often. To be fair, they were not human, so I guess anything goes. The final 20 minutes was frustrating because things turned a bit dreamy as opposed to the haunting with all of the menace it delivered for the entire run of the movie up to that point. The final couple of minutes, though, delivered an interesting twist on the actual purpose for the invasion. This is a really fun movie with some scares, some action and some unanswered questions. I'll definitely be looking to buy this on physical media if it's released that way. It's a keeper.

No One Will Save You is a really intriguing and engaging movie that kept me hooked throughout. The cinematography is excellent, with every shot making you curious about what’s coming next and how the aliens might act. Brian Duffield did a great job directing this one, and it feels like one of his stronger projects. Kaitlyn Dever’s performance stood out. Since the movie has almost no dialogue, it relies heavily on her ability to convey emotions through her expressions and actions, and she does it really well. It’s not easy to carry a story without words, but she made it work and kept me invested in her character. The ending definitely caught me off guard. Duffield has a knack for surprising his audience, and while it wasn’t what I expected, it left me thinking about the story long after it ended. Overall, it’s a solid movie that’s worth watching. It’s not perfect, but it’s unique, well-directed, and has a great performance from Kaitlyn Dever. If you enjoy suspenseful and unconventional sci-fi, you’ll probably enjoy this one too.
