High school girls Kotori Morino, Azumi Hattori, and Madoka Hino secretly fight against the evil Satanzola society as the Sailor Cats, messengers of justice. One day, while being attacked by assassins trying to steal an inherited hand mirror, the three are sucked into a mysterious black hole and wake up in the Azuchi-Momoyama period.

The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Akira Masamune. The story takes place in 2020 during the pandemic when the Prime Minister suddenly dies. Faced with an unprecedented crisis, the government's ultimate measure is to "use AI to revive the great figures of history and form the strongest cabinet.". Meibo Hamabi plays a new journalist from the political department of a television station, the protagonist of exclusive news tracking the strongest cabinet, Risa Nishimura, Wei Er Akechu plays the late stage figure Ryoma Sakamoto, who has been appointed as the Chief Cabinet Secretary, and Mansai Nomura plays Prime Minister Tokugawa Ieyasu, who leads Japan's strongest cabinet.

Tokugawa Ieyasu is killed at the Battle of Sekigahara. Jirosaburo Serada, who travels all over the country, becomes Tokugawa Ieyasu's shadow warrior and runs country….

Following the events of the previous movie, Kotori and her friends return to the present only to discover that Japan's history has changed. To restore the timeline, the Sailor Cats must travel back in time again to protect the life of Ieyasu while battling the Kouga army.

With a mixture of drama, warlords, battles, love, tragedy all set with great music, this made for television movie has it all. Showing the rise of Tokugawa Ieyasu as portrayed by Matsudaira Ken (Abarenbo Shogun) this stunning portrait of an exciting era shows how the influence of three women played a pivotal role in the formation of the Tokugawa Shogunate. Brilliant performances by Nakamura Atsuo (Cold Wind Monjiro) and Nakamura Tamao (widow of Katsu Shintaro) highlight this production as such notables as Oda Nobunaga, Toyotami Hideyoshi, Lady Sena, Princess Asahi, and Lady Yodo jump from the pages of history all leading up to the Battle of Sekigahara that would change Japan forever!
