From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Laurence Fox (born 26 May 1978) is an English actor, musician, GB News broadcaster and right wing political activist. He is best known for his leading role as Detective Sergeant James Hathaway in the British TV drama series Lewis. He is the scion of a show business family: his father is the actor James Fox, and Edward Fox, Robert Fox and Daniel Chatto are all uncles. Fox publicly criticised the George Floyd protests and COVID-19 vaccines in 2020 and Pride and trans rights in 2023. After founding the right-wing populist political party Reclaim, he stood unsuccessfully in the 2021 London mayoral election in opposition to what he deemed "extreme political correctness". Deathwatch

In the brutal trench fighting of the First World War, a British Infantry Company is separated from their regiment after a fierce battle. Bernhardt Tellemann - Island at War is a British television series that tells the story of the German Occupation of the Channel Islands. It primarily focuses on three local families: the upper class Dorrs, the middle class Mahys and the working class Jonases, and four German officers. The fictional island of St. Gregory serves as a stand-in for the real-life islands Jersey and Guernsey, and the story is compiled from the events on both islands. Produced by Granada Television in Manchester, Island at War had an estimated budget of £9,000,000 and was filmed on location in the Isle of Man from August 2003 to October 2003.
