**_Snappy comedy revolving around a Shakespearian high school play_** A senior (Ben Foster) loses his childhood sweetheart (Melissa Sagemiller) and so joins the school play to win her back despite his lack of theatrical talent. The play is a musical version of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream in which the teen has to deal with the hyper drama teacher (Martin Short) as he gets to know his best friend’s sister (Kirsten Dunst). "Get Over It” (2001) is an energetic and innovative teen comedy with good camaraderie and the unique scenario of a Shakespearian play marked by that updated 60's-type aesthetic of the period. The amusing lines, mostly by Short’s character, are so rapid-fire you’ll have to see the movie a second or third time just to get ’em all. I also appreciate the ‘cool’ edge minus the over-the-top sleaze of flicks like the (puke-inducing) “American Pie” series. Mila Kunis is also on hand in a peripheral role, but she never did anything for me, nor did Dunst or Sagemiller, but they’re all winsome enough. And Jeanie Calleja is notable as the assistant of the drama teacher, Jessica; plus there are some females on the fringes worth a mention. Speaking of which, statuesque Kylie Bax appears in an amusing side role and Carmen Electra has a bit part. On the masculine side of things, Short pretty much carries the movie with his over-the-top charisma. Moreover, Colin Hanks and Sisqó are likable as the protagonist’s best friends while Shane West is effective as the arrogant rival. Remember the high school play in “Dead Poets Society”? Now imagine if the entire movie revolved around that with a wildly witty tone and fast pacing. That’s this movie. It took me a while to catch a grip with its uniqueness but, once I did, I savored it. The film runs 1 hour, 26 minutes, and was shot in Ontario at Mississauga (Port Credit) and nearby Toronto. GRADE: B
Marion and Jack try to rekindle their relationship with a visit to Paris, home of Marion's parents — and several of her ex-boyfriends.
The comedy, centered on five characters (Rita, Rodolfo, Agostino, Bettina, and Don Attilio - "o viecchio pazzo"-), has as background the Italy of the 60s between the economic boom and the perennial unemployment crisis. The cylinder, well explained by "Agostino-Eduardo" in the comedy, is a representation of power, designed to intimidate the ignorant for its only evocative "power". It can also be seen as a sort of "Pirandellian mask", where the character of Augustine wears it to defend himself and represent something that he is not.

Remember that really cute girl/guy who said they'd call – and didn't? Maybe they lost your number. Maybe they're in the hospital. Maybe they're awed by your looks, brains or success. Or maybe... They're just not that into you.
Marcus Payne (Salman Sheikh) has only one aspiration: to become Student Body president. As such, he's gone to great lengths to ensure that he's a leg up on his entire competition- outspending them on various campaign materials, and even going insofar as to hire his own campaign manager Scott (Jordan Noriega). In his mind, it seems as though his victory is all but assured - that is, until the most popular girl in school- Skylar Morgan (Sara Thiboult) enters the race. With his victory suddenly far from assured, Marcus decides to take matters into his own hands and force Skylar from the competition by any means necessary. After a few unsuccessful attempts at persuading Skylar to leave the race- he enlists the help of an intrepid journalist for the school newspaper (Bailey Cooper) to leak damning misinformation regarding Skylar's personal life. This in turn causes a chaotic spiral of controversy and conspiracy that might do more than determine the victor for the Student Body election."
