Well, for starters, you have to realize that you are watching a made for TV movie geared towards kids... and adults like me that might still like kid things. Otherwise you are going to kind of hate it. And then you have to realize that it's an action comedy of the best sort of pulp narrative available or else, again, you're going to kind of hate it. And then, it's total pulp trash so don't expect it to be historically accurate in any way. What it is, is a fun movie made about a dork, a geek, a nerd, that gets thrust into the fantasy world that all Indiana Jones fans live in. It's kind of Warehouse 13 only more Indiana Jones. It's kind of Friday the 13th the Series, only more comedy. It's made for kids, it's made to be light and fun and it has Bob Newhart acting like an action hero.

Disney's irresistible talking puppies are back in an all-new movie that takes them halfway across the world to the ruins of ancient Egypt. With the help of some exotic new friends, this epic adventure is a treasure trove of pure Buddy fun. Adventure is afoot in the small coastal town of Emerald Cove. Dave Shipper (John Weisbarth) is all set to enjoy a quiet summer, but the arrival of his cousin Jon (Frank Jimison) throws a wrench in his plans. Rather by chance, they happen upon an old map that sets them on a quest, along with Dave's friend Freddy (Freddy Rible), to seek out a legendary treasure said to be buried deep inside the ocean cliffs. With the help of an old local fisherman ("Smokey" Tom Hodgins), the boys compile clues that unravel a 30-year-old murder mystery and lead them closer to their prize. They quickly draw the attention of a bumbling crew of malicious treasure-hunters and a mysterious pickaxe-wielding "digger", all intent on capturing the gold for themselves.
A journalist gets pulled into an intrigue by his editor that involves a story that he received a Pulitzer for years before. It seems that the second largest diamond ever mined was used during World War II to buy a Jewish woman freedom from a prison camp. Only trouble is it disappeared after the war and now everyone is after it, including the Russians, former Nazis, gangsters, and the original owner. Somehow, the story that the journalist originally wrote about a camp survivor is believed to have leads to the diamond.
Based a on a true story about two sisters who came out on top of a man's sport.
