Venu, a violinist enters in a contract to marry the daughter of a wealthy industrialist. The girl has a fatal health problem.

Kaliyoonjal movie portrays a brother to a disturbed sister. The sister, played by Shalini, is mentally disturbed if any thing goes against her will. She is possessive of her brother and creates a havoc when she gets angry. Enter Shobhana who marries Mammootty and Dileep, who plays Shobhana's brother and marries Shalini, and problems start up in the family.

Ramakrishna (Chiranjeevi) is a mechanic whose life changes when he meets Priya (Anjala Zaveri) at a train station. She sees him and feels some inexplicable connection and runs away with him to flee her father, Mahendra's (Prakash Raj) goons. They end up living in the forest with their son, but her father, who is an underworld don, kidnaps her so that he can marry her off to another don's son. Ramakrishna confronts her father and in the ensueing struggle Priya takes the bullet shot at her husband and dies. Their son, because of the shock, loses his voice and Ramakrishna is jailed. Mahendra takes the boy away to Kolkata, where the story originally started. Rama Krishna with the help of Padmavathi (Soundarya) reunites with his son.

A young man narrates two conflicting accounts of his life, changing the details and incidents in both, as he slowly approaches madness.

In the middle of the 80s, in Madras. While her car, (one Volkswagen Beetle, typify like Walt Disney's "Herbie") breaks down (frequently), Mâlu (Jayashree), a beautiful young graduate, very independent, stemming from the Tamil bourgeoisie, attends, dumbfounded enough, not far from it, in the terrible correction that Raghunath (alias Raghu) (Mogan) to a pickpocket administers. The young man who went to an interview, misses his bus. Having got acquainted with Mâlu and having repaired his vehicle, this one leads him to its meeting. She informs him on the spot, that post, is already taken, what puts Raghu, beside himself. To escape from his wife and father, he takes a job transfer to Bangalore, where he falls in love with Julie and gets married. Murli does not reveal his past to Julie, however, Arukani ends up at his house in Bangalore.

Raja, a rich lad falls in love with Chembaruthi, a maid who works in his grandmother's house. His family rejects their love due to social differences.

Vishwa spends his time hanging out with Anandham to avoid his mother, who always quarrels with his dad. To find peace, he plays tricks on others. Among the victims is Jothi. The story moves to London, where Vishva visits Princess Diana's grave and leaves a beautiful poem behind. At the same time, Jothi too visits the grave and leaves a note after reading the poem. Then begins a warm relationship between Jothi and Vishwa without seeing each other. Whether the two are united form the rest of the story.

Kannedhirey Thondrinal (transl. She appeared before my eyes) is a 1998 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Ravichandran. The film stars Prashanth and Simran. The film's score and soundtrack were composed by Deva. The film's success later led to remakes in other languages as well.
