Cool Black private eye John Shaft is hired by a crime lord to find and retrieve his kidnapped daughter.

After offering his services, Zed soon finds himself trapped in a situation beyond his control when heroin abuse, poor planning and a call-girl named Zoe all conspire to turn the robbery into a very bloody siege.

Sonny and Sal attempt a bank heist which quickly turns sour and escalates into a hostage situation and stand-off with the police.
