Kevin Nguyen

Kevin Nguyen is a Vietnamese-Canadian actor born and raised in Vancouver, BC, on the unceded traditional territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. He first discovered his passion for acting in high school drama class, an elective he chose simply to make new friends. After a personal loss, Kevin made the life-changing decision to pursue the arts over a planned career in engineering. Since then, he has co-created and appeared in works across Canada, including in Edmonton, Regina, and Toronto. A graduate of Studio 58, Kevin was part of the 2022 Riotous Youth cohort at Bard on the Beach and received the Andree Karas Scholarship that same year. His stage credits include work with Theatre Replacement, The Women's Company, Green Thumb Theatre, Pacific Theatre, and Ruby Slippers Theatre. On screen, he appeared in The Official Guidebook to Lying, which screened at both the Toronto and Vancouver Asian Film Festivals. In 2023, Kevin joined alongside the Vancouver Youth Choir to represent Canada on stage at Carnegie Hall. Outside of performing, Kevin can be found playing basketball, re-organizing his Magic: The Gathering cards, and developing his own creative projects. Born : Unknown
