Still without his dematerialisation circuit, the trapped "Doctor" (Jon Pertwee) and his assistant "Jo" (Katy Manning) are summoned to a prison for violent felons to investigate a mystery surrounding the rather menacing "Keller" machine. It's a sort of high-tech gadget that substitutes the need to execute these miscreants with a process that soaks up all their evil and leaves them like the placid "Barnham" (Neil McCarthy). Well, needless to say, the thing has gone a bit wonky and there's a bit of a riot broken out at the establishment. Meantime, the "Brigadier" (Nicholas Courtney) has his work cut out for him organising the security at the first world peace conference. The Chinese delegate is killed and the "Doctor" is diverted from his original task - only to discover that these events might have something in common and that the "Master" (Roger Delgado) might be behind a cunning plot to use all the evil stopped up in the "Keller" to avenge himself on both the "Doctor" and on us pesky humans. I was never really as much of a fan of the Earth-bound adventures and despite a full suite of UNIT characters this one isn't really much better than an average spy thriller with some sparingly used special effects. Pertwee enters into the spirit of this enthusiastically, Delgado delivers his usual brand of hammy megalomania well enough too and it's a decent enough ensemble effort, but it's too thinly strung out and the writing - though quite entertaining a times - struggles to sustain this light-weight outing across six episodes. It's all watchable enough, but please can we get back into the TARDIS for some off-world tin foil, papier-mâché and green lycra stories soon, please?
A lost soul travels through canvases, cabins and time itself to a bygone era, where he discovers the transformational power of true love.
Called in to recover evidence in the aftermath of a horrific explosion on a New Orleans ferry, Federal agent Doug Carlin gets pulled away from the scene and taken to a top-secret government lab that uses a time-shifting surveillance device to help prevent crime.
Tom Merrick gets caught up in a time-traveling conspiracy and must set the timeline right before it is irrevocably altered.
A depressed housewife who learns her husband was killed in a car accident the day previously, awakens the next morning to find him alive and well at home, and then awakens the day after to a world in which he is still dead.
12-year-old David is accidentally knocked out in the forest near his home, but when he awakens eight years have passed. His family is overjoyed to have him back, but is just as perplexed as he is that he hasn't aged. When a NASA scientist discovers a UFO nearby, David gets the chance to unravel the mystery and recover the life he lost.
12:01 PM is a 1990 short film directed by Jonathan Heap and starring Kurtwood Smith. It follows Myron Castleman, an everyman who keeps repeating the same hour of his life, from 12:01 PM to 1:00 PM. The film was nominated for an Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film.
On the planet Xeros, the TARDIS crew discover their own future selves frozen in time as exhibits in a galactic museum and must avert this potential future.
In this completely TARDIS-based story, the crew find themselves and their ship acting very strangely indeed. Blame runs high for the Ship's unusual behavior, until the Doctor realizes the TARDIS itself may be trying to warn them...
The TARDIS crew lands in the Himalayas of Cathay in 1289, their ship badly damaged, and are picked up by Marco Polo's caravan on its way along the fabled Silk Road to see the Emperor Kublai Khan. The story concerns the Doctor and his companions' attempts to thwart the machinations of Tegana, who attempts to sabotage the caravan along its travels through the Pamir Plateau and across the treacherous Gobi Desert, and ultimately to assassinate Kublai Khan in Peking, at the height of his imperial power.
The Doctor is summoned by the mysterious and powerful White Guardian, and sent on a quest to find the six segments of the Key to Time, which, once assembled, will restore balance to the Universe. Joining the Doctor and K9 is the smart and sassy Romana, a Time Lord fresh from the Academy. Landing on the wintry planet of Ribos to locate the first segment, the TARDIS crew quickly find themselves embroiled in a little local trouble with a pair of conmen and an unstable warlord...
In the future, corporations have taken over the world and banned sex. A group of rebellious high school students devise a way to go back in time to the present day and try change history to prevent that from happening.
