After running away from a syndicate in Vienna with his friend Fred, Leon recalls his childhood where his stepfather's accident led him to meeting Edward Pierro, a business tycoon who became an instant fan of his artworks. Years pass and Edward continues to hone Leon's architectural skills. Leon becomes a successful architect but has little time for his family. He even ignores a call from his mother asking to see him. After a successful presentation, Leon learns that there was a fire in their home resulting to the death of his mother. Back in Vienna, a drunk Leon bumps into Genevieve who travelled long distance to follow her fiance only to find him with another woman. While having a snack, Gen and Leon learn about Henrik and Tanya's love story. Moments later, fire suddenly breaks out in the gallery.
